My Paragraph about Circus Song

The song that I have selected for this project is ‘Circus’ which is sang by Britney Spears. The lyrics in this song reflect a lot about me. The song is about being the person who entertains and the one being the leader. In my previous schools, not to be vain, was quite popular in different ways. I had a basic control of my peers because whenever I told them to do something they would most likely do it. Also the lyrics it says “I’m like a firecracker I make it hot”- Britney Spears. This means that when something is boring I can make it more interesting and ‘hot’. I tend to make group work more exciting as I didn’t do before in my childhood; I was more an independent person. I also like to take control of a group, as I like to be in control in sports events, like the captain. Also, my family was a certain gene to win at everything. My cousin, dad, granddad and I all like to win and have many excuses when we loose. Therefore, the other family members don’t like to compete against, this relates to a verse in the song.
“There’s only two types of guys out there
Ones that can hang with me and the ones that are scared
So baby, I hope you come prepared
I run a tight ship so beware.”
The ones that hang with me are the ones who are brave enough to challenge my cousin, dad, granddad and I, which is my mum, and the ones who I am bewaring is my sister and grandma. To add, she says that “I am a ringleader, I call the Shots” it relates to me because I also like to be the ring leader. This song is a very good example of how it relates me. Even the music is exciting and cool. I like to be cool and exciting or else I wouldn’t be like the ringleader. Although this only relates to one specific part of my adolescence I think it is a brilliant song which reflects my leadership side.

The Lyrics for My Adolescence Song

Lyrics To Circus- Britney Spears
There’s only two types of people in the world
The ones that entertain, and the ones that observe
Well baby I’m a put-on-a-show kinda girl
Don’t like the backseat, gotta be first
I’m like the ringleader
I call the shots
I’m like a firecracker
I make it hot
When I put on a show....

I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins
Spotlight on me and I’m ready to break
I’m like a performer, the dancefloor is my stage
Better be ready, hope that ya feel the same

All eyes on me in the center of the ring
Just like a circus
When I crack that whip, everybody gon' trip
Just like a circus
Don’t stand there watching me, follow me
Show me what you can do
Everybody let go, we can make a dancefloor
Just like a circus

There’s only two types of guys out there,
Ones that can hang with me, and ones that are scared
So baby I hope that you came prepared
I run a tight shift so, beware
I’m like the ringleader
I call the shots
I’m like a firecracker
I make it hot
then I put on a show

I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins
Spotlight on me and I’m ready to break
I’m like a performer, the dancefloor is my stage
Better be ready, hope that ya feel the same

All eyes on me in the center of the ring
Just like a circus
When I crack that whip, everybody gon' trip
Just like a circus
Don’t stand there watching me, follow me
Show me what you can do
Everybody let go, we can make a dancefloor
Just like a circus

Let's go.
Let me see what you can do.
I'm runnin' this (like like like like a circus)
Yeah.
Like a what? (like like like like a circus)

All eyes on me in the center of the ring
Just like a circus
When I crack that whip, everybody gon' trip
Just like a circus
Don’t stand there watching me, follow me

Show me what you can do
Everybody let go, we can make a dancefloor
Just like a circus

All eyes on me in the center of the ring
Just like a circus
When I crack that whip, everybody gon' trip
Just like a circus
Don’t stand there watching me, follow me
Show me what you can do
Everybody let go, we can make a dancefloor
Just like a circus

Football Crazy

My profile picture has a lot to do with me. Football is a sport/activity that can keep me occupied for an extremely long time. Football is my favourite sport and I've been playing it since I was 4 or 6. There will never be a sport which can top football. In football, my position is on the wing. This is a tough position to play because you have must have good stamina and u must be fit. And I have of none of these. I am football crazy cause football is very important to me as it relates to other things as well.

Count on the Coach

“Hot in the Heart, Cool in the Head” by Coach Luis.

This quote means that if you are angry it should be stored in your heart and not in your head because you control everything in your head and if there is anger in your head you do unintentional actions, which can put you in trouble.

This was said during a football meeting about consequences in football. Coach Luis was speaking to us, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 18, about the consequences of getting sent off the field for whatever reason. He explained the new rules of getting sent off and from my view the consequences were very professional and severe. He mentioned that the coaches and himself will decide how bad the punishment should be depending on how bad the player got sent off for. I was extremely scared of being sent off now. I took in his information, after a while of him lecturing about the various punishments he then talked about reacting to bad fouls that come upon a player. He explained, that when you are fouled badly you should never react. However, he said that if the player reacts (like hitting, swearing) negatively, the player would receive an even worse punishment than the player who fouled you. Then he said, “A good player is a player who is Hot in the Heart, Cool in the Head”. When he said this, I thought that it was an incredible piece in speech. This struck me that even though this quote relates to football it also relates to other aspects of life.
